Diving in sea caves, grottos and caves or cenotes is a very special fascination for many divers. For almost everyone, it started when a guide or another diver somewhere in the world showed them a „hole“.

And since then you just crawl into every „cave“ you find.

But beware: even if you crawl only a little way into a cave or grotto and still see the exit as you think, within seconds it can be completely different. This course „Diving in Sea Caves“ is also suitable if no „cave diving career“ is planned.

This course is not to be confused with Cavern/Intro the Cave or Full-Cave Diver.

We offer this course according to PADI and IDA/CMAS guidelines and your PADI or CMAS/IDA Cavern Diver course includes a lot of new things for you, especially in terms of equipment, buoyancy and trim, and fin kick techniques. In our online theory session you will get the necessary background knowledge, so that you don’t need any time in the practice sessions, You can look forward to the practice and the fun.

Maybe you would like to combine this course with the PADI or CMAS / IDA Tec Fundamental course?
In this course we show you how to use a double tank and wing jacket, some fin kick techniques and back-up exercises with light and mask.

In your course you will learn:

• Recognition of special features, problems and dangers in grottos, caves and canyons
• Planning, preparation and safety as well as the correct behaviour in these „overhead situations“
• Good buoyancy control, good trim and the basics of fin kick technique
• Handling lights and lines

You will need a minimum a full day at the dive site to complete your course, you can read up on the background knowledge at your leisure in our e-learning portal.

You will need to bring a full diving kit, buoy, dive computer (or watch depth gauge) and compass. Any missing equipment can be hired from us for the duration of the course. Tanks and weights are included. To take part in the course you must be 16 years old (for minors, parental consent is required), present a PADI AOWD or equivalent, have a diving medical certificate or complete a current health questionnaire on site.
