In this workshop we would like to show you life under water. The sea off Cyprus has a lot to offer, you just have to know where to look and what to look out for.

Our sea on our doorstep, like all the oceans of the world, has been used by us, us humans, for everything. As a larder, waste bin, raw material supplier. As a result, there was less and less for us divers to discover and marvel at.

In recent years, a rethink has taken place and protected zones have been created off the coast of Cyprus and artificial reefs have been built, partly through wrecks. These then gradually became a new home for the indigenous creatures under water.

In the course of time, species that „immigrated“ and even spread to such an extent that they became a threat to the local species also spread.

Course price 179 Euro,

In this underwater workshop, we will dive with you at 2 different dive sites, looking for creatures that are not immediately recognisable at first glance or that hide perfectly. Of course, we won’t look away when schools of fish like bream or barracuda, turtles or small rays cross our path, and with a lot of luck we might encounter the seals that have been spotted from time to time lately.

To take part in this course you must be at least 15 years of age (minors need a parental consent form), have a Diving Fitness Certificate or Health Questionnaire with no restrictions, a valid and recognised OWD level certification and your own diving equipment. Tank, weights, buoy and compass are included in the course. Missing equipment can be hired for a fee.

(e.g. Oroklini – Pyla – Livadia – Larnaca City). Pick up is also possible for more distant routes, but we will then charge a small surcharge.
