Diving with a gas change underwater requires practice and discipline.

In order to learn to perform deco dives safely and in a relaxed manner, you should prepare yourself conscientiously. How? You can learn this individually and purposefully with us in your CMAS/IDA Nitrox Advanced Diver course.

In the Nitrox Advanced course, special emphasis is placed on the safe handling of the additional equipment, such as additional stage bottle, buoy and reel, as well as on the correct configuration and arrangement of the entire diving equipment.

In theory, we teach the safe planning of these dives, the necessary gas management and the legal regulations that must be observed with oxygen-enriched gas mixtures.

The equipment is discussed in detail, and of course the tank configuration is also an important topic. We will show you the advantages and dangers of diving with oxygen-enriched gases and you will get to know not only the classic dive tables but also special dive computers that support the gas change. Of course, we don’t just rely on the dive computers, but create run-time and emergency plans.

In addition to theoretical instruction and tips, the course includes four dives focusing on buoyancy, trimming and fin-kicking techniques.

You will need two days at the dive site to complete your course, you can read up on the background knowledge at your leisure in our e-learning portal.

To participate in the course, you must be 18 years old, present the min. AOWD, CMAS**/Silver or equivalent, have a diving medical certificate or fill out a current health questionnaire on site.

You will need to bring a full diving equipment, buoy, dive computer (or watch depth gauge) and compass. Any missing equipment can be hired from us for the duration of the course. Tanks and weights are included.
